I was so excited when Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova won the Oscar for Best Original Song for "Falling Slowly" from the movie Once last night. If you have not seen the movie Once yet you need to. Don't bother renting it just go to the store and buy the DVD and the soundtrack! Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova are absolutely wonderful in the movie and their music is amazing.
In my family we are a little obsessed with the movie Once and the soundtrack. My parents were the ones that made Eric and I, and my brothers Ian and Alex watch the movie. After that we all went out and bought the movie and the music and spent all of Christmas break blasting the music through my parents house. My mother, Marsha loves the music so much that when she drives around in her car she blasts the soundtrack all the time.
I honestly can not say enough good things about the movie Once and the music from it, it might possibly be my absolute favorite!
hey random question for you. Last night while I was at my in-laws I saw a commercial that I swear had Laura Haeffele in it. Do you think it was her?
ReplyDeleteSteph, I didn't know you had a blog until I was looking at Lisa's and low and behold Stephanie and Eric have a blog too. Still haven't seen "Once" but every time I hear about it I think about you. Did see Juno the other night and thought it was cute.
